Official Unreal Engine Meetup - September 11 - Recap
The second Official Unreal Engine Meetup in the city of Turin has come to an end.

Accreditations and Intro
As per the program, the evening began at 6:00 pm with the accreditation of registered participants and from 6:15 pm onwards, those registered on the waitlist also had access.
At 6:30 pm, Daniele Barone opened the evening with a short introduction dedicated to the program of the Unreal Engine Meetup. Following this, Matteo Frattini, from the Biunivocateam, illustrated the evening's program to the participants, also introducing the sponsors who contributed to the realization of the event and the partners of the Meetup.
1st Presentation - Kevin Giorgis
The first presentation was held by Kevin Giorgis (EFI - Ecosistema Formazione Italia) entitled “Building a virtuous ecosystem”.
A presentation dedicated to the value of communities, professional relationships, and collaboration as drivers of growth.
2nd Presentation - Davide Tromba
The second presentation was held by Davide Tromba (Z-Shift Academy) entitled “Using Artificial Intelligence in Film and 3D Pipelines”.
A journey through the applications of AI in animation, VFX, film, and asset production workflows for Unreal Engine.
3rd Presentation - Elodie Moog
The third talk was given by Elodie Moog (Praxinos), international guest, entitled “Blending 2D & 3D in Unreal Engine thanks to Odyssey”.
Odyssey is a plugin for Unreal Engine developed by Praxinos that allows you to create 2D animations, storyboards and textures directly within the engine, integrating traditional frame-by-frame animation tools (onion skinning, inbetweening, bitmap and vector brushes) with real-time 3D environments. It is now available for free on Fab and allows you to work in a hybrid mode without having to constantly switch between external software.
4th Presentation - Massimo Carrier Ragazzi
The fourth speech was held by Massimo Carrier Ragazzi (Maga Animation) entitled “Maga Animation Studio, 30th Years of CG”.
Thirty years of evolution of computer graphics told through the experience of an animation studio that has lived through all the technological revolutions in the sector.
