TO CHRISTMAS CAROL VR
A Christmas Carol VR is a theatrical virtual reality experience that brings Dickens' famous tale into a living, breathing digital world.
Spectators wear a headset and find themselves inside Scrooge's story, accompanied by the three Spirits of Christmas through environments reconstructed in Unreal Engine.
The unique feature of the show is that everything happens live: the actors perform in real time, and their avatars come to life thanks to the facial and body tracking integrated into the Meta Quest headsets.
In 2025, the experience will be completely revamped, offering redesigned scenarios, greater technical stability, easier onboarding for Meta Quest users, and a new 3D replay feature that allows you to relive some performances as navigable three-dimensional environments.
Spectators, represented as small points of light, witness the story without interfering with the scenes, experiencing an intimate and poetic approach to the tale.
This edition consolidates years of research and development on live performance in VR, bringing the production to a level of artistic and technological maturity never achieved before.
