The Virtual Production Gathering (VPG) is an annual conference held at the Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) in Breda, the Netherlands, for educators, professionals, students and enthusiasts of virtual production.
The event brings together individuals from film, television, education and digital industries to showcase innovations, share knowledge, and foster collaborations through masterclasses, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.
The VPG explores the latest trends, technologies and techniques in virtual production, with a focus on topics like Gaussian splatting, artificial intelligence, real-time technology, motion capture and integrated workflow solutions.
The theme of the 6th edition in 2026 is: “Leaders of the Craft”, which highlights the people who are setting the benchmarks in Virtual Production, focusing on the mastery, decision making, and creative leadership that push the craft forward.
