VP Gathering 2026
Biunivoca participated as an exhibitor at the second edition of the VP Gathering, an annual meeting for professionals and educational institutions operating in the field of Virtual Production, together with its technical partner Unspace.
The program was divided into 3 days, Education Day, Industry Day and Masterclass Day with an average of 150 participants per day, 25 countries represented.
In addition to the 2 evenings of meetings and networking sponsored by Epic Games and Chaos.
Here you can view the other exhibitors present in the Marketplace area.
Below is our personal journey inside this wonderful event.
First day - April 13th arrival in Breda
After arriving at Eindhoven Airport, we took a bus to the train station, which connects Eindhoven to Breda in about 30 minutes. As soon as you step out of the station, you can already feel the atmosphere of Breda—a charming city with a relaxed, human-paced rhythm. After a short walk to our hotel and a quick refresh, we headed straight to Breda University to set up our space in the Marketplace area, where we met the incredible event staff and the other teams preparing their setups.
Second Day - April 14th, Education Day and Unreal Engine Evening Mixer
On the second day, the VP Gathering officially started with the day dedicated to educational institutions from all over the world, took turns inside the area dedicated to Breda's Virtual Production studio, International speakers bringing their experience and use cases.
While in the Marketplace area it was possible to view the exhibitors' stands.
All this was topped off with excellent snacks and a platform to facilitate meetings and networking between participants.
In the evening, Epic Games organized a Mixer in an external location for a few hours of relaxation and networking.
Day Three - April 15, Industry Day and Chaos Evening Mixer
On the third day, the Industry Day took place, themed “Leaders of the Craft.” This edition highlighted the professionals who set the standards in virtual production, focusing on creative leadership, decision-making, and the level of craftsmanship that defines top-tier VP work.
The Marketplace area was moved to a new wing of the school, where exclusive presentations from teams involved in recent high-profile productions were showcased, offering a clear overview of how VP leaders shape workflows.
A live presentation was also held in the Virtual Production studio at Breda University.
Unfortunately, we had to leave on the afternoon of the third day and did not have the opportunity to attend the second Networking evening sponsored by Chaos.
The following day, the VP Gathering continued with its sold-out Masterclass programming. Designed for professionals, teachers, and advanced students .
We can definitely say that the VP Gathering was a truly stimulating and engaging experience for us and we highly recommend anyone interested in virtual production to participate in the new edition.
