Unreal Fest - Stockholm 2025 - Report
We returned last week from the fantastic Unreal Fest in Stockholm and are here to share our personal experience of this wonderful event organized by Epic Games.
Arrival in the city
We landed at Arlanda Airport, a few kilometers from the center of Stockholm, reachable by a direct train in just a few minutes.
And we found the weather and temperature we expected.
Arriving in our room the day before the opening, from our window we could see the Unreal Fest screens and the huge system that would host everything.
In the evening we decided to rest a bit and finish the last few things at work so as not to find ourselves with a lot of backlog at the end of the Fest.
Day 1
The event opens in the late afternoon with the Opening Reception, but together with the group that formed in the previous weeks on Signal with professionals from practically all over the world, we decided to try and collect the badges early to avoid the usual evening queue.
Luckily it worked because the organization was already there with the badges and the fabulous gadgets offered!
Arrival on foot at the location kindly offered by Alex Coulombe:
Afterwards we decided to visit the cities and luckily the train station was just a stone's throw away and in a few minutes we arrived in the center.
Then a nice breakfast all together while we waited for the rest of the group to join.
And then a nice walk in the center.
The cheerful group consisted of Bartosz Barlowski and his partner, Elena Felici, Arthur Tasquin, Lorenzo Raffi, Mario Veltri, Milan Gèrard, and Marcella Bragagnolo.
Meanwhile, other types of breakfasts were taking place in other places:
Opening Reception
In the evening, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the event opened inside the Expo Hall, and it was already possible to view the exhibitors' stands and watch the demonstrations.
During the opening, we took the opportunity to conduct a series of short interviews:

AWS Unreal Fest Kickoff Party
Afterwards, we all moved to the Unreal Fest Kickoff Party organized by AWS in a beautiful penthouse in the city center.
There, it was possible to have excellent networking opportunities accompanied by delicious snacks and excellent drinks!
Day 2
Opening Remarks
The second day began with a Welcome Coffee in the Entrance Hall and the opening of the event in the Victoria Hall, a large auditorium.
The day continued with an endless series of presentations given by leading global experts in various fields, and the biggest problem was deciding which talk to attend. Below are some images and videos from Raoul Cacciamani's session, “Disrupting the Traditional: The Unreal Evolution of Real-Time Animation.”
Unreal Partner Mixer at Fotografiska
In the evening we moved to the Mixer organized by Epic inside a beautiful venue that in our opinion looked like a school for professionals.
Day 3
The third day continued with another intense day of presentations and like all good things it was about to end:
To conclude in style Epic ended the evening with an epic Unreal Fest Party, we attach some photos and videos offered by the group created on Signal made up of:
Elena Felici, Daniele Barone, Arthur Tasquin, Lorenzo Raffi, Mario Veltri, Milan Gèrard, Marcella Bragagnolo, Bartosz Barlowski, Alex Coulombe, Andi Inziger, Bojan Andrejek, Dana, Dave, David Garcia, Elena Dimopoulou, Eloide Moog, Joan Da Silva, Julian Blockschmidt, Mikael Jaeger Jensen, Nicolo Bacialli, Roberto Fernandez Barba, Svend Ghani Nordby, Tiago Loureiro, Tore Lervik, Trygve Bjellvag, Victor Careli.
