London Games Festival 2027: applications open for festival initiatives

The London Games Festival 2027 officially opens applications for its main initiatives, offering development studios, publishers, investors and professionals in the games industry new opportunities to present projects, develop professional relationships and participate in one of the most dedicated events for the games industry in the UK.

The next edition will take place from Monday 12th to Monday 19th April 2027 and will mark a significant milestone for the festival: both the industry-focused program and the public-facing activities will take place at the Business Design Centre in London, as part of a program that will engage the gaming community through events, showcases and networking initiatives.

Applications are now open for a variety of initiatives, each designed to meet the needs of studios, creatives and event organizers.

Games Finance Market: new opportunities for studios, publishers, and investors

The Games Finance Market (GFM) returns in 2027 with a program of business-to-business meetings dedicated to creating connections between development studios, publishers, and investors.

The initiative is based on a selection process that aims to foster targeted meetings between participants, creating opportunities to present projects, explore financing opportunities, and develop new commercial collaborations.

Applications are open to both studios interested in presenting their projects and to investors and publishers who wish to take part in the event.

Official Selection: bring your video game to the festival

TheOfficial Selection is the initiative aimed at developers who wish to give visibility to their video games through the festival's public program.

Selected projects can be presented during New Game Plus, the festival's showcase, and gain online visibility through the London Games Festival event on Steam.

This is an opportunity for studios that are working on new titles and want to reach a wider audience, showcasing their work within an international event.

Ensemble 2027: space for diversity in video game creativity

Among the initiatives of the public programme also returns Ensemble 2027, an exhibition dedicated to British professionals and creatives in the video game industry from Black, Asian and other underrepresented ethnic communities.

The initiative aims to highlight the people, career paths and creative contributions that contribute to the diversity of the video game industry in the UK.
