Ecosystem of Immersive Production: selections open for the free workshop
Applications are now open for the free Ecosystem of Immersive Production workshop, promoted by the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia as part of the initiatives funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU. The project is part of the cultural and creative industries recovery plan envisaged by the PNRR and aims to develop skills related to immersive production and XR technologies.
Course Structure
The workshop will take place online on 18, 20, 28 and May 30 and June 5, 2026, for a total 20 hours. Participation is free, with mandatory attendance, and includes the issuing of a final certificate. There are six places available.
Contents and Objectives
course offers an overview of the immersive production ecosystem, analyzing the main phases of an XR project: ideation, development, production and distribution.
During the workshop, the following will be explored in depth:
the professional roles in the immersive production sector
the workflows and operational pipelines of XR projects
the relationship between the creative, technical and organizational components
the analysis of practical examples and real case studies
the reading of the dynamics that connect the different production phases
These elements allow us to build a structured understanding of how the immersive ecosystem works and its operational logic.
Who is it for
The workshop is intended for candidates of age with a high school diploma and an interest in audiovisual, digital environments and immersive languages.
Application Procedure
Applications must be submitted online by 12:00 on May 8, 2026, attaching a CV and cover letter. Selection will be based on an evaluation of the materials and a possible interview.
