Mata Haggis-Burridge (they/he) is Professor of Creative and Entertainment Games at Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) and a writer/designer of video games.
They have worked on indie and AAA games, including well-known IPs such as Resident Evil, Dying Light, Aliens Vs Predator, and Satisfactory.

Presentation abstract:

How can writing for a small LED volume differ from typical screenwriting? In this talk, Mata explains strategies they use to create micro-scripts (1-2 pages) containing conflict and suspense that give production teams the freedom to learn and experiment with VP technologies.
