The Unreal Engine community kicks off in Modena: the first official meetup on June 17th
A new point of reference for enthusiasts of 3D graphics, video game development and digital technologies is officially born in Modena . On Wednesday 17 June 2026, the city will host the UnrealMO Meetup #01, the inaugural event of the Modena Unreal Engine Community.
The initiative is intended as a dynamic laboratory, called UEMOLab, designed to bring together professionals, students and simple enthusiasts and transform ideas into real projects using the Unreal Engine graphics engine.
Event details and how to participate
The meeting will be held from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the headquarters of MakeitModena, the Digital Gym of the Municipality of Modena located in Strada Barchetta 77.
Participants are advised to arrive at 7:00 PM to facilitate registration.
The event is completely free and configured in hybrid mode, allowing both physical presence and virtual streaming connection. Since seats in the room are limited, it is mandatory to reserve your place by registering RSVP.
The evening's program
The program includes technical interventions, presentations of case studies and a final moment dedicated to networking and discussion on future projects:
7.30 pm – ConoscereLinux
7.45 pm – Biunivoca
8.15 pm – Speech by special guests Elena Felici and Daniele Barone
9.00 pm – Opening of UEMOLab and evaluation of ideas and projects
9.45 pm – Closing of the event
10:00 PM – Dinner together at the Nelson pizzeria, located in front of the headquarters
