New Game Designer 2026: talent, creativity and innovation on display

New Game Designer 2026 is an event dedicated to the presentation of video game projects created by students of the Online Game Design courses of theUniversity of Milan and Videogame Design and Programming of the Polytechnic University of Milan.

Now in its sixteenth edition, the event represents the final moment of an entire semester of work, during which the students have conceived, designed and developed their own video game prototypes.

Throughout the day, the teams presented their projects through pitches and live demos in front of industry professionals, companies, and enthusiasts, before participating in the traditional exhibition-competition, where the public could try out the video games and interact directly with the developers.

The afternoon was also dedicated to individual interviews between students and companies, an important networking opportunity and a concrete bridge between the university curriculum and the world of work.

Events like this represent a valuable opportunity for academic education and the video game industry to meet, enhancing the talent of young developers and fostering dialogue with industry professionals.

A heartfelt thanks to Dario Maggiorini, Davide Gadia and Laura Anna Ripamonti for the invitation and the warm welcome.
