Italian Videogame Program Award 2025
To enhance research and innovation in the sector, the IVIPRO Association (Italian Videogame Program) has launched the Italian Videogame Program Award 2025, a recognition dedicated to the best university theses on video games.
Collaborations and Academic Support
The award is organized in collaboration with the Chair of Semiotics of New Media and the Chair of Innovative Teaching Elements for School and Out-of-School Education at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna; under the patronage of the Department of the Arts (DAR) and the Department of Education Sciences "Giovanni Maria Bertin" of the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, and IIDEA (Italian Interactive Digital Entertainment Association); with the support of Effenove srls.
Who Can Apply?
The call is open to graduates from all Italian Universities and Fine Arts Academies. Eligible for the award are bachelor's and master's theses, as well as first and second-level academic diplomas from Fine Arts Academies, offering a critical analysis of video games from various perspectives.
Application Deadline: July 28, 2025.
