Indie Vault at Lucca Comics & Games 2026: a new space dedicated to independent video games
Lucca Comics & Games 2026 will host a new area entirely dedicated to independent video game development: Indie Vault.
Created through a collaboration between Lucca Comics & Games and Excaliber, Indie Vault aims to offer independent developers the opportunity to showcase their projects at one of Europe's most important events for comics, animation, video games, and entertainment.
The initiative will take place in the historic Palazzo Guinigi, located right in the heart of the city of Lucca and at the center of the event.
The space will serve as a meeting point for indie video games, developers, industry professionals, and visitors interested in discovering new interactive experiences.
For indie studios, Indie Vault is a major opportunity to bring their games in front of a broad and diverse audience.
Lucca Comics & Games attracts over 280,000 visitors, while also bringing together professionals and representatives from various sectors across the entertainment industry.
This means having not only the chance to showcase your video game directly to players, but also increasing the project's visibility within the gaming industry.
Interested developers can submit their application by Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
Projects will be evaluated by a jury composed of industry professionals, who will select the titles to be featured in Indie Vault.
Selected studios will gain access to exhibition spaces on favorable terms for all five days of Lucca Comics & Games 2026.
The selection results will be announced by Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
