Epic MegaJam 2025: the creative challenge turns 10

Video game lovers and creatives of all levels, mark your calendars: the Epic MegaJam kicks off on October 16, 2025!
Not just a simple game jam, but a true celebration of creativity, turning ten this year.

What is the Epic MegaJam?

It’s a week-long marathon where developers, designers, students, and enthusiasts from all over the world challenge themselves to create a game starting from a secret theme, revealed live during Inside Unreal (Twitch and YouTube, 8 PM Italian time).
From that moment, you’ll have seven days to build a playable experience that can surprise and entertain players.

The community is huge and diverse: from indie studios to AAA, including those taking their very first steps in development. You don’t need to be a professional, just bring your curiosity, creativity, and willingness to share.

This year, there are more award categories than ever before, 31 in total, thanks to sponsors like NVIDIA, Wacom, Razer, Logitech, SideFX, 3DConnexion, and many others. A wealth of opportunities for anyone ready to take part.
