Course starts on November 17, 2025
The course focuses on learning Unreal Engine, with a focus on the needs of producing images and animations with archviz quality. The lessons will cover all the fundamental steps: from the principles of modeling and scene preparation in 3dsMax, to the management and import of models in Unreal, to the creation of lights, materials and blueprints, up to the best settings for rendering, as well as providing countless tips & tricks along the way that are the result of years of experience.
As anyone in the field knows, architectural visualization requires a specialized approach, capable of satisfying high aesthetic quality and reduced production times. At the same time, learning Unreal in a work context can be complicated due to both the vastness of the starting material and the limited time available. This course was born from the experience of those who know these topics perfectly having experienced them firsthand, and offers a gradual and simple path of targeted and practical learning.
The course will be in Italian.
BY FOLLOWING THIS COURSE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:
The lessons aim to provide the most effective workflows and methodologies for::
Properly prepare 3D scenes and objects for use in UE5
Export and import content flexibly and reversibly
Know how to manage lighting in real-time in different scenarios to achieve photorealistic results
Creating and Editing PBR Materials in Unreal
Exploring the basics of the blueprint system
Render cinematic sequences using the sequencer
ARE THERE ANY REQUIREMENTS OR PREREQUISITES FOR THE COURSE?
Basic knowledge of polygonal modeling software (3ds max, blender, maya, etc.) is preferable, although cad-software such as rhinoceros or sketchup can also be used.
On the hardware side, it is essential to have a machine with a graphics card at least equal to the second generation geforce (from RTX 2060 onwards) or equivalent.
Windows operating system, latest generation processor (i7 or i9), minimum 16 RAM, recommended 32.
TO WHOM THIS COURSE IS ADDRESSED:
The course is aimed at both those who have just started using Unreal, or would like to start, and are struggling to find their way around so many different topics, perhaps following dozens of tutorials, and also those who, despite already using UE5, are unable to achieve the desired quality as well as having difficulty managing the project. It is therefore intended as a guide in the labyrinthine world of Unreal, with everything you need to know collected in order in one place.
In particular, it is intended for CG artists, architectural visualizers and architects, who want to enrich their training with the interactive visualization made possible by UE5.
